School: the building was made in cardboard and then replicated into a 3D space in After Effects.
Most of the shots were filmed with a Sony HVR V1 and captured with Blackmagic Intensity card
I wanted to achieve an organic look, away from the perfection found in computer drawing, so I used only real objects and hand-drawing that were later composed in After Effects.
Many of the organic textures such as particles, drops, autumn leaves, etc, were carefully filmed over a green background in uncompressed full HD at 1920 x 1080. Most of them will be soon divided into categories and available for downloading from the web.
Some textures were photographed as texture maps to be later applied to a 3D object.
The skeletons were built in wood and twisted aluminium wire, and then modeled in tissue paper and cold porcelain
Hardware: Nikon D70s / Sony HVR V1 / Blackmagic Intensity Card

Stop motion and 2D animation work. A blend of different techniques
For an easier background and light holding, a cubic wood structure was built.
The material was recorded directly to the hard drive through the Blackmagic Intensity via HDMI input.
All the characters were shot over chroma key backgrounds.
