A character´s evolution: from skecth to it´s first animation test

6. CREATING THE MUSIC

When it comes to putting music on my projects, I usually call my friend Alex Conrado. We knew each other during the times we were both working on feature films for a production company in Barcelona, and worked together many times after going freelance.

Of course, a big portion of the animation was based on the music, so it was a bit challenging to make modifications according to the changes that have been requested. Alex had a chance to show off, orchestrating his own version of Le Marseillaise and creating a whole new Indian folk piece.

7. PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER

The final details, adding of sound effects and editing of the spots was quite a task. I used Final Cut Pro for video and  Apple Soundtrack for sound mixing and music.
