On the 18th, 19th and 20th of June 2007, we made in “Plato Paris”, a studio in Barcelona, the chromakeys shots that were used to compose the definitive shots of the short film.

Those were very intense working days in which we tested new technology.

CHROMAKEYS

Thanks to the effort of the cast and the crew during those 3 long days, we have now a total of 240 minutes of HD video waiting to be edited.

The short film was entirely shot in layers on a green background. The textures and shades will be added in the postproduction phase.

Even though the aesthetics I was looking for required a light coming from the side, which was very restricting, I am pleased with the results. The performances were impeccable and the costumes brought the characters a special charm.

We used a HVX200 Panasonic with P2 cards to achieve less compression as posible in order to separate the green screen easely in postprodution.
